Question

Updating Operating System on Apple - Will PS CS6 Work?

Currently, I have an IMac with  OS X 10.8.5 (Snow Leopard).

I want to update the OS to 10.11.6 (Yosemite), which is the last update that I can

upload to this 2008 computer.

Will doing this update still allow me to use CS 6 Photoshop, as well

as similar versions of other Adobe products from a while ago?

Thanks,

and have a nice day,

Majortrout

You should be fine. CS6 seems to work good through High Sierra, which is still a few updates past Yosemite.

    Hello Daniel,

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.

Apple was the one who said that the maximum OS that I could use was Yosemite 10.11.6.

    But your answer will help.

Up to what versions of other Apple Products can I buy (used or old stock)

when I update my OS to Yosemite?

    Thanks,

Adobe don't sell any old stock. However, with a CC subscription you can run both old and new CC apps from the one subscription.
