I have a stand-alone installation of Photoshop CS6.
Can I install the CC version and use it in parallel to the CS6?

Yes. I've been running older versions alongside newer versions for some time. Just be sure to NOT delete the old version on installation!

Warning: CC will immediately take over the CS6 licensing. This is fine so long as you subscribe to CC, but if your plan was that CS6 can be there if you stop paying, you will be disappointed.

CS6 runs fine on Windows 10.  My CS6 Windows  Perpetuals Standard version 13.0.1.3 was update the  Creative cloud CS6 Extended version 13.1.2  years ago though Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop shows it as  Photoshop v 13.0 up to date it 13.1.2 up to date on Windows 10 the CS6  reports 13.1.2 Windows 8
