Question

Use sky replacement with other backgrounds?

Hi,

I was triying to replace a white background of a portrait in the stido with sky replacement. This works fine, as long as i use a sky.

I uploaded a wall to the skyreplacement tool, to try and replace that white background with a wall. In my mind this should work.

But it didn't. The tool replaces the wall with "empty white". And even if i use a photo of a sky with a wall beneath, the wall is white.

Can i work arround this within  the tool?  ( of course i can use the created mask , but it would be nice to use the sky replament tool for that.

You cans use the tool the replace the sky then use the mask created on your background image.  The tool is one designed to create mask for the sky in an image. The Image need to have a sky that can be masked.  Once you have the mask its created copy it onto the background image you want to use and delete the sky replacement group added.

And you can add Sky images\ to the Sky replacement tool.
