Using colorize

Tried several times to colorize a mono image all goes ok until the process initiates then it goes into a hang shown by the wait symbol rotating what am I doing wrong

Are you referring to the new beta  Neural Filter Colorize?  If so its beta. On my system it a very long running filter process and has some problems.  Closing down right which caused looping loading neural filters after that which hung Photoshop till I terminated it the task manager.  Most of the neural filters are beta code I expect there will be issues in these.

    Try doing a bit at a time to see if that helps.

    It might be worth resetting your Photoshop preferences.

    Which version of Photoshop and OS?

    Presumably you're working in RGB color mode?

    How much RAM and spare disk capacity do you have?
