I restore old photos. Many are terrribly blurry. All that I read says you cannot fix, but I have seen some that have been restoree to amazingly sharpness, almost as good as new. They are sharp!

Ihave tried virtually very trick in the book, and, althoug achiving some moderate success, I have not attained the level of these photos that I have seed that looked almest new.. I have Topaz AI sharpen and denoise. I have tried to blur and unblur.on PHotosop.. I have tried to make the image larger  in photoshop. Nothing. Someone knows how to do this ... I have seen their work. (their method may be a secret}. Any suggestions?  Am I not  using Topaz correctly?

Any  help on this would be greatly appreciated!

I moved this to the Photoshop forum, as I agree with @dj_paige, that this is not exactly a problem where LrC can help much.

Now first: blurry pictures can't be sharpened! You can enhance some aspects of a picture with sharpening. Making an image larger in Photoshop does not add information needed for a sharp image. In the contrary, you will make the image more blurry. I think that if you really want sharp images from a blurry one, you have a lot of handwork to do.

Maybe you tell us who "someone" is and a reference to his or her work.

Blurred photographs can be improved but not significantly – can you post a typical one so we can see.

Perhaps this question is better asked in the Photoshop forum or in The Lounge as this is not related to Lightroom Classic. I doubt Lightroom Classic can help here.
