video overlays need help

i downloaded a video overlay for photoshop and the video is only 12 seconds and 60mb but the video im making is 1 hour and 35 min how do i make the overlay last the whole video i just copy and pasted it till it reached the end but its taking forever to save the video is there a easier way ?

Hi Shawn

Is the overlay animated? If not, you can just stretch out the duration of a single clip instead of adding multiple clips. That might save you some file size. If you’re going to stay in Photoshop, I think you already found a good fix for your situation. I know dedicated video editors will give you more options if you need.

The video is the overlay . I'm making a video with songs to put on YouTube

and all the songs together is 1 hour 35 min and I added a picture and I

want a snow overlay so I downloaded a snow video overlay for Photoshop I'm

just having problems making the snow last the whole video seeing as the

snow is only 12 seconds long and when I copy and paste it then it works but

it creates 444 overlays in Photoshop which still works the video plays

great but it takes soooooo long to save

I don't believe Photoshop can do that. Premiere Pro can via FX but there's a reason: Changing a video's duration affects its speed. (e.g., Changing a video that's 10 seconds long into 20 seconds will halve its speed from 100% to 50%. Changing the same video into 5 seconds will double its speed at 200%.) There's no easy solution to this other than to use a video of the appropriate length.

    I did copy and paste it till it reached the end but it created 444 overlays

    though and I kept the video at 12 seconds I just simply copy and paste
