Vortex and vertical line at join in Ricoh Theta 360 degree images after cloning

Hi,

I have just started with the new Photoshop CC 2018 (After several years using PS Elements 9) , specifically for editing Ricoh Theta SC VR/360 degree files to remove my, head, hand or tripod from the images. An issue I have observed is that after removing the objects using the clone or repair tools the image is fine but when saved and reopened there is a very visible mismatch line with a vortex at each end which completely ruins the effect. Is this something I am doing wrong in the way I am saving (to .jpg for upload to istock/Getty Images) or in the way I am using the clone/repair tools?

Update: I have just opened a file gone into 3d/spherical panorama/ new panorama from selected layers and saved without editing, when I reopen the same file with the same procedure the line and vortices have suddenly appeared. This must be something to do with the way I am opening and saving the image.  Any recommendations?

Update: Thanks to a You Tube video online, I now know that this problem is caused when you 'save' or 'save as' a jpg rather than 'export panorama' from the 3D tab.  When you have finished editing always 'export panorama'. I hope this helps others with the same issue.
