Wacom Pro Pen has no pressure in Photoshop, while Grip Pen does

Hi,

I'm having kind of a weird problem here. I have two Wacom styluses - Pro Pen and Grip Pen from my previous Wacom tablet. I also have two Photoshops installed - CC (I'm testing it) and my old beloved CS6.

In CS6 both pens work perfect, while in CC the Pro Pen just won't respond to pressure. If I put Windows to sleep and wake it again actually none of them respond to pressure in CC, while CS6 is still fine. They both have exactly same settings.

This is purely a Photoshop CC problem, and very frustrating - any ideas how to fix this?

Hi, thanks for all the replies. I actually found solution to the problem. In Stylus Settings window I removed both  pens from devices list and simply used them on the tablet. They re-installed automatically and are working like a charm 🙂

I know that sometimes pen pressure goes kablooey in Photoshop. (Actually, that hasn't happened to me in awhile but it was a problem in the past.) Usually, if I launch Photoshop with my pen, everything is fine. (I'm not sure why it worked but it did, at least for me.)

Have you talked to Wacom? Pens are generally not portable between generations of tablet.
