want to reinstall old Elements 10 on new desktop

My old computer crashed,lost most things including Photoshop Elements 10 purchased years ago.It was registered under an old email account no longer in use.Chat agent registered it ? under new account and I was provided with an access code which comes up as invalid.Cannot seem to get around this old email account problem,if I try to login under that one to get my serial number it sends a validation code to it which,of course,I cannot access.
