Weird selection problem - Photoshop on macOS High Sierra V 10.13.6.

Every time I make a selection using the quick selection tool, the image kinda jumps like this. If I minimise the Photoshop window and maximise it again, the selection is back as it should be. Any ideas on what the issue could be?

My system details.
Photoshop CC. High Sierra V 10.13.6.
iMac Mid 2011. 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5. 24 GB ram.

    First of all, Restart your Mac, if the issue still there.

     reset photoshop preferences settings, 

    edit -> preferences-> general , reset preferences on quict , then restart photoshop

    Hey having same issue - I disabled "use graphics processor" and the select & mask tool started working again. Is this a bug? I tried resetting preferences first, and that did nothing. I'm on an Adobe subscription and up to date.

      Yes, that setting is deselected but the problem is still happening.

      Hi there,

      That shouldn't be happening. Could you please try deselecting "Use Graphics Processor" located in Photoshop's Preferences > Performance, then relaunch Photoshop and let us know if it helps?
