What are my choices to get my Photoshop CS5 app to work with Monterey 12.1 on my Macbook Pro?

Photoshop CS5 used to work just fine on my macbook pro. It does not now. I have Monterey 12.1. What are my options to have a working version of this app?

CS5 is 32 bit and Monterey will not run 32-bit applications. You can continue running it on your old MacBook as long as you do not update the OS or you can try to install an older OS through VMWare or Parallels to see if that will work.

If you decide to update, here are the current plans. Most are an annual commitment, but have a free trial.

The best approach is to upgrade to the current CC version which is fully supported on Monterey.

CS5 is a 64-bit application but the installer is not. That's a problem if you can't boot into an OS to install this old version.
