I am looking for a scanner/digitizer for x-ray film. I need to put them in .dcm (DICOM) form. There seems to be so little knowledge out there I know adobe users are the smartest people I know and that I can find some type of guidance. I will then scan them into Adobe Photoshop and wahla done!

I am asking about which scanner/digitizer to buy to scan the actual x-ray film. I am familiar with the photoshop capabilities and .dcm file extension.
