What's up with that?

This is going to sound crazy but it's working like gangbusters now. I've been working with it for about 3-4 hours now without a problem or a misfire. I'm running it without CC open, which it wouldn't do before without the validation message. I actually have a memory card with more RAM on the way. I thought that might help things along. 

I understand why the hardware can be an issue, that's why I ordered the card. What I don't understand is why Creative Cloud has all the problems it does when nothing else is open. When I first checked online about it I saw that a bunch more folks had the same CC problem.

If I can keep from having to open CC it may be just fine.

Oh btw, I am aware this is professional grade software so stow the patronizing attitude.

That seems reasonable at first glance except before I got the subscription and was using three programs to edit they would all be open and I would be either watching a movie or streaming a movie on my second monitor with no problem. Yes they woud go a little slower but I'm sure I was pushing my hardware to the max. I would make an adjustment and might wait a second or two for it to preview but that was it. 

Now I open CC and that's not a guarantee. Just CC and probably 10-15% of the time it either takes forever or says it needs to be repaired, ie., reinstalled. Also I have nothing else running while I do this.

Then I open Bridge, which does well actually until I want a different file. They real wait comes when I open an image in Camera Raw. Here is my process for that.

1. Click on the image

2. Click "Open in Camera RAW" icon

3. Go grab a coffee

4. Step out for a smoke

5. Come back and sometimes it needs another minute or so and other times its ready...50/50

After I finish in RAW I click open and repeat steps 3-5 above.

In the process of doing this CC may topple over like a bad Jenga move and I'm starting all over again. 

If that happens while I'm in Photoshop I can reopen the image but the history is lost. If there is something I would rather have done differently then I'm back at opening the CR2 image in RAW and reopening in Photoshop. 

I like Photoshop otherwise I would have kicked it to the curb for these issues. I'm trading off these inconveniences for an excellent editing program but as I am paying for a subscription I souldn;t have to.

It all seems to center around Creative cloud...the moment that gets a little sideways everything starts swirling the drain. I believe that since I'm on subscription I can't run the rest without having CC open. When I've tried it says it can't validate my product. If there's a work around on that I would appreciate knowing about it.
