What won't work without DirectX 12?

My version of Photoshop (24.6.0) says that DirectX level 12 is required, yet it seems to work OK on my computer which "supports DirectX 12" but only provides feature level 11. 

What Photoshop features should I expect not to work properly?

    @maynardsmith you may experience some display glitch issues and lagging especially with features that require full DirectX 12 support.
