When applying some of the sketch filters the image turns full black

All the filters from the filter gallery works perfectly, except for some of the Sketch Fitlers: in fact when i use the following filters (Bas Relief, Charcoal, Graphic Pen, Halftone Pattern, Photocopy, Plaster, Reticulation, Stamp and Torn Edges) the whole Layer tunrs black (not some Area, but full black). I checked already the mode of the Layer, tried with different types and resolutions of images already but nothing seems to work or fix the problem. Already tried also to check "Deactivate Native Canvas" in Preferences > Technology Previews and also to uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" in Preferences > Performance but without success.

mega strange

It's not strange; it's expected behavior. The filters use the Foreground and Background swatches. If they are both black, the result will be solid black. From your description, it sounds like you had black and dark grey. "D" is the shortcut to reset the swatches to black and white.

Just Solved, mega strange but it looks like it works: go back on the panels and press D and then everything should work again!
