When I click select and mask I can only zoom

When I click select and mask the only thing I can do is zoom. Any advice?

Sorry that you can zoom onto the image while using Select and Mask in Photoshop.

Which version of Photoshop and the operating system you're working with? In Photoshop, you can check that by going to Help > System Info.

Would you mind sharing a screenshot illustrating the issue? Are you using a tablet to draw and zoom into the image?
