Question

When I try to load files, I get a "Not Responding" message

Photoshop and Lightroom are experiencing errors. Until yesterday, there were no issues. Is there anything suspicious that could be causing this? Like a Windows update, perhaps?

Are there others experiencing the same symptoms as me?

    It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

      I got my Windows file explorer "no responding" issue after installing the PS beta version. After uninstalling the PS beta version, the issue gone.

      What kind of errors?

      How much RAM and spare hard disk capacity do you have?

      Have you tried resetting the Photoshop preferences back to the factory defaults, which you can do under the General tab in Photoshop preferences (then closing and reopening the application)?
