Question

When I view my image on Instagram I can see a ghost trail of where I liquified?

When I upload my image to instagram (it was taken on a DSLR, edited in photoshop and then resized in exporting to 1080p) I can see a 'ghostly trail' (somewhat transparent area where you can tell it was liquified) in the spots that I edited however this is not at all visible on the hi res version? What causes this and how can I avoid it?

I agree with c.pfaffenbichler, in what format was the file saved. Ie: .psd, .jpeg, .pdf. Screen shots let us see what's going on.
