When pressing the "Select and Mask" it pops up and disappears in CC 21 Ver PS 22.4.3

"Select and Mask" function had been working fine but not after making a selection, now when I press the "Select and Mask" it brief pops up and then disappears in the workspace.  I had this problem once before in Big Sur 11.4, however, I do not remember what I had to do to resolve the problem.  I have uninstalled Photoshop CC 21 and reinstalled, but the problem persists.  

 

HELP PLEASE!!!!!

I have 32 GB of RAM and 330GB available SSD hard space AVAILABLE. I just got this problem resolved. The agent had to remote in and renamed Adobe Photoshop 2021 Pref.psp to Adobe Photoshop 2021 PrefOLD.psp on my HD Library>Preferences. Issue has been resolved completely.

The Adobe Customer Service agent had to remote into my computer and renamed Adobe Photoshop 2021 Pref.psp to Adobe Photoshop 2021 PrefOLD.psp on my HD Library>Preferences. Issue has been resolved completely.

Have you tried resetting the Photoshop preferences, which you can under the General tab in Photoshop prefences?
