When using the "mixer brush" it is not possible to select/pick a color using the [Alt]

(PS2023) When using the "mixer brush" it is not possible to select/pick a color using the [Alt]+[Left Mouse Button] key combination and the cursor view becomes a "sight". Help solve this problem, if anyone knows.

    With the Mixer Brush selected, go to the Options bar (Window > Options) and in the dropdown menu to the right of the Brush Settings icon, set it to Load Solid Colors Only. Then you can use Alt + the Left Mouse button to sample a color.
