Where is the magic wand buried?

Question

As an periodic user of Photoshop, it's frustrating for me trying to figure out where the magic wand tool is buried when I come back to Photoshop. Since it's a tool I use almost every time I use PS, it'd be helpful for it to be at the top level of whatever set of tool it's buried under.

I went to the page below. It shows me how to use it, but doesn't tell me where it is:

Try this: Select Edit > Toolbar and then click Restore Defaults

When you are in Edit > Toolbar, you can also move unused tools to the right and rearrange the tools you do use. For instance, since the Magic Wand tool is in a group of tools, pull it down a little so it is by itself. Then choose Save Preset so you can restore it later if needed.

Got it. It looks like "Restore Defaults" just re-buries the Magic Wand tool in the group of tools under W. I'll probably keep it in the group since W = wand makes so much sense. My suggestion was to put the Magic Wand at the top of that group of tools by default. However, trying out the Object Selection tool for the first time, I see how incredibly powerful it is. I guess I started using Photoshop with version 6, so that may have been before the Object Selection was released?
