Which Adobe application to use to create GIF?

What program should I use to create a GIF from pictures? (png,tiff......)

What applications do you have access to, and what kind of gif do you want to make?

I would think more then one Adobe application can save Gif files. Photoshop can save Still and Animated Gif files.
