White area around workspace after update

Hi All,

I wonder if you can help me. After installing the update a strange white space appears around my art-board.

Any images pasted into the art-board are compressed or squashed and when trying to paint the paint does not line-up with where the mouse is clicking.

(this misalignment happens for all other tools)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Kind Regards

Jake

If mouse coordinates are off, then maybe you are running in a mode where you get incorrect scaling.

Go to Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CC 2018

Right click on Photoshop.exe

Choose "Compatibility" from the "Properties" panel.

Make sure that "Override high DPI scaling behavior is unchecked.

I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling Ps

Thank you for your reply WILDCAT!

I have tried a re-install but currently only the older version (CC 2015) works.

Can you provide us some information about your computers specs?

Did you jump from CC2015 to the newest version?

Make sure your computer meets the newest system requirements

Hi Jesper,

Thanks for your message!

The settings are correct as you have mentioned, this does not fix the issue.

I have installed an older version (CC 2015) and this seems to work fine.

I would like to use the new version though, do you have any other recommendations?
