Why are my file colors glitching?

My photoshop files have started doing backflips and I don't know how to fix them! The colors are all wrong or the background has this weird glitch effect

i have tried changing the color mode but have no luck. I attached a corrupted file (where the black is supposed to contain artwork), as well as before vs after of another file.

any help is appreciated

It looks like either file corruption, or a GPU memory corruption. If you close and opent the file, does it fix the problem? If not, it's likely the file was corrupted. File corruption is usually the sign of a hardware failure (either a failing disk drive, a bad drive or network connection, etc).

If closing and opening the file restores the appearance of the document, it's likely a GPU card or driver issue. Update the driver first, or disable Use Graphics Processor under Preference > Performance....
