Why can't Adobe get Photoshop to work???

I am so tired of Photoshop not working properly on my MacBook Pro 2021.  Photoshop 2022 didn't work and 2023 is worse. My screen is constantly blinking and it's really hard to do any simple task in this program.   At this point, I'm just going to go back to 2021. Ridiculous, considering the monthly fees I pay.

MacBook Pro 16" latest version of PS and macOS; all fine on this end. So with that said, let's get to your specific problem, which doesn't affect the majority of users.

Yes, do try the suggestion to "Deactivate Native Canvas".

If that doesn't work, try disabling GPU in the preferences (Performance). Any better?

If that doesn't fix the issue:
Go to Preferences > Performance... and uncheck Multithreaded Compositing - and restart Photoshop.
Still crashing?
Go to Preferences > Performance... click Advanced Settings... and uncheck "GPU Compositing" - then restart Photoshop. Still crashing?

If all else fails, log into another user account (you may need to make one); better?
