Why does Photoshop return to factory settings every time it is activated

Hi @Ortal23018740ecrv sounds like a permissions issue with the preferences folder location.

Are you running as an Admin on the user profile?

Try going to Photoshop.exe - shift+Right-click and choose "run as administrator".

Which version of Photoshop are you using? How do you know the application is getting reset?

Do you see any error messages?

If your assets are backed up, you can try reinstalling the application.
