Why does reticulation-filter suddenly invert colors in Photoshop CC 21.0.3

Hi! I recently used "reticulation" from the filter gallery and got the result i wanted, i did it multiple times. Now when I'm trying to do it again with the same result the colors get inverted, the faces goes dark and the clothes bright. Does anyone know why? Have I accendetely changed a setting?

What are the Fore- and Background Colors? 

Please post a meaningful screenshot including the Toolbar, Layers Panel etc.

I didn't post the original question, but I have the same issue happening. When I go to Filter > Filter Gallery, anything I choose applies the filter, but also inverts the original:

Here's the original side-by-side with the "Grain" filter.

My foreground color is black and my background color is white. I reversed them and it gave me the same results. Also, this happens with every filter, not just the Grain one.

Could you please post complete screenshots? 

Could you gave applied more than one Filter?
