Why does the color change after i draw ontop of the same color?

I am drawing a poster for a school project.

As i am drawing i saved and quit as usual.  

I loadit back up. when i draw ontop of a previous drawn part the color changes into something which i was not expecting. (Img as to what im reffering)

Anyone got a solution to fix this?

Check layer operations and transparency. I suspect that you use layer maths, or that the underlying colour strokes are transparent.
