Here's where Photoshop's temp files are kept on the Mac: macos - How to recover unsaved PSD file on MacOSX - Super User

~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop <version>/AutoRecover

When you close Photoshop, they are gone.

As I said you might not find them. Why not just monitor free space to see if it is being used up.

hi

i guess i was not clear

first  file save option -> automacly save recovery information  every x minutes is disabled

i 'm talking about scratch disks

i have 2 ssd ( 2 solid state disks  )

in the first disk i have sierra and photoshop , lightroom and bridge

the second ssd i use for scratch disk

well in the photoshop cc option in the scratch disk i have selected the second ssd (it's almost empty)

run photoshop cc , and while photoshop was running with finder i gave a lot to the second ssd , there is nothing

Maybe the scratch file is hidden, or is deleted. (On a Mac, an app can delete a file it is using, and it goes away when the app quits; this is very useful because it is certain to be cleaned up).
