Why is my default "save as" changed to TIFF from PDF with the latest release?

I want to always save as PDF. With the latest upgrade, it defaults to TIFF and I have to manually change it every time I save a file. There is nothing I see in preferences to change this? What happened? How do I fix it?

Hi There,

As you always want to save a file as pdf could you try saving a pdf and then close Photoshop and relaunch it again to see if pdf is defakt in the Save As dialog or not?
