Question

Why is my eraser tool erasing the actual workbook?

Hello, for some reason when I use my eraser tool it is erasing the actual workbook rather than the images I have drawn.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!

Do you mean it is revealing the transparent checkerboard behind the background layer?  The only way I can think of that happening is that you have the background layer selected, and that it is no longer a Background layer (it does not have the padlock icon). The Background layer name changes to Layer 0 when you click on the padlock icon, and becomes an ordinary raster layer.

@Nadeen5E96

Without seeing your image and Layers panel, it's hard to know what you mean by "actual workbook" or why this is happening. If you are working with layers, you may be on the wrong layer. If that's not it, please post a screenshot.

Use the Insert Image command (mountain and sun) in a Reply window.
