Why my Windows or Canvas pop seperate when drag and drop to photoshop

Have you checked to make sure this option in preferences is ticked

It look like tou are opening several files. If you you want alls ine in a single document as image layers use load files into a stack, Or drop then in an Open document in Photoshop to place the in as layers
