Why wont PS recognise cr3 files

Question

Please help

I updated from Canon Mark IV to the new r6 which is CR3 files.

So i had to update PS, Bridge and ACR to all the latest. which i have done..
but it wont recognise the files.
i imported some on to my desktop from the camera. I can see thumbail that is white with RAW across it.. but brigde and PS wont recognise it..

Hi there,

Sorry that Photoshop and Bridge is not recognizing your CR3 files from the Canon Mark IV.

We know you updated to the latest version of Photoshop and Bridge but still would like to confirm which exact version of these apps are you using? Navigate to the Help> System info menu and check the version of the apps you're working with.

Are you also getting any error message when you open a CR3 file in Photoshop or Bridge?
