Why would my Libraries disappear?

I'm told to install the creative cloud app, but it is already installed and gets auto updates. Why would this be happening?

I wish I knew. My libraries disappeared for several months. I could see the Web version, but not in the CC Desktop App or Photoshop. Then, one day, they were back.

I've no idea where they'd been, or why they returned.
