Windows 11, Is it still a problem?

PS Users,

I need your opinion. 

I am about to upgrade my computer system and that will entail moving from Windows 10 to

Windows 11. I can remember a lot of dissatisfaction being voiced here and other places about 

how difficult it was to work with 11 and how it was conctantly causing problems. Does anyone have

any strong opinions at this point? With some manufacturers, I don't know if there is any option to keep Windows 10. Thank you for any input.

    No problem with Adobe apps on Windows 11. However, I would like to express my dissatisfaction with Windows 11 as I have encountered some bugs, such as unresponsive apps and the need to close or restart Explorer.

    Any new operating system will have initial bugs. That's what you've heard about. That's why it's always very sensible to wait a bit after release, just a couple of months.

     

    Historically, Microsoft have always been very quick to respond to reported bugs. They are rarely allowed to stick around for long.

    I've been using Windows 11 on a new system since April, and not had a single issue to do with any Adobe apps.  In fact, the only issue I have had, is being unable to access a networked printer, and AFAIK that is still unresolved.

      Tengo suscrito un plan que integra PS 24.7 y 25, LrC, LR, Bridge, Camera Raw 16, y otras. No he tenido problemas con Windows 11, salvo a partir de un momento en que Adobe cambió los requerimientos de la Tarjeta Gráfica, que tuve que cambiar. Entiendo que el problema citado se daría con cualquier versión de Windows y se deriva de exigir de Windows Direct X 12, que no actualizará si no lo pide la tarjeta gráfica instalada. O sea, compatibilidad total cumpliendo los requerimientos.

      No issues with Photoshop v25 on Windows 11 here
