Windows copy & paste size issues after 20+ years of photoshop

Having used photoshop from V3 Im finding that the latest version is having an issue with copy and paste. When I select the part of an image and copy it the new past wildow in not the same size. So Im forced to measure my copy then enter the dimentions before pasting. Fustrating after will over 20 years! Now on 23.4.1. kiwiak@ak.net

They are aware of bug. For now as work around click on some other preset then click back on Clipboard preset or check Use Legacy "New Document" Interface in Preferences > General.
