Question

With latest update (V21.1, selection tool is adding extra unwanted points to selection

I just updated Photoshop CC 2020 via the latest update patch.  I use Windows 7, 64 bit OS.  Whenever I use the Lasso Selection Tool of the Polygonal Selection Tool, Photoshop is adding an extra point, to the left and diagonally upward to the selection.  This didn't start happening until the latest update.  Is there a way to roll back to the previous update which worked just fine?  Or is there a way to reset the tool?

I was able to reproduce the problem. In my case the problem is relater to PS 2020 version 21.1.0 and Wacom tablets using WinTab API and the Wacom Pen rocker button. Switching to using Windows INK API for Pen support  the problem goes away but I can cor use the pen with CS3 and CS6  and I have other issues when Using Windows INK API for Pen support

You can uninstall 21.1 from the CC app and then install version 21.0.3

How does one get a copy of v 21.0.3?  I don't see in my Creative Cloud folder, nor in my Downloads directory.

There have been quite a few reports like yours mostly from Windows 7 users. I do not think the source of the problems has been identified. You may need to uninstall 21.1.0 first
