Question

With Quick Export for Artboards, it creates a folder titled “[filename]-assets”. Is there a way to change or completely remove the “-assets” suffix?

Ideally I’d like the exported artboards to go into a folder next to the original file (which it currently does) but without the ‘-assets’ suffix. Is this possible?

    Hi Markh,

You can change this setting by going into Photoshop's Preferences > Export:

Thanks for the quick reply. I currently use the option 'export files to assets folder next to the current document', but haven't found any options to change the default folder name/suffix. So when I do a Quick Export, it puts the files in the folder next to the document, but adds the "-assets" suffix to the end of the folder name. That's what I'm trying to get rid of.
