Working with Facebook 3D Photos

Recently Facebook rolled out 3D photos that use depth maps captured by smart phones with dual cameras like the iphone xs.

Whenever I try to manage those photos in photoshop or lightroom, the photo is no longer able to be used as a 3d photo.

The only way I know to edit them is with the basic built in editor on the smartphone.

Does anyone have any good resources for working with these files in Photoshop?
