I'm stumped. I've been happily using Photoshop daily since 1996 and this latest update has me curled up in a corner, crying silently.
Nuts & Bolts
- Mac OS Monterey 12.0.1
- iMac 2020 3.8GHZ 8-Core Intel Core i7
- Memory 63 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
- Graphics AMD Raedon Pro 5500 XT 8 GB
- Photoshop 23.0.1
- Use Trackball - Kensington Slim Blade
Issues With Last Update
1) When I select a layer by clicking on it, it does not stay selected. If I work on that layer and stop for a moment, without clicking on another layer, pointer moves to another random layer.
2) Show Transform Controls is checked to be active, but now the controls show randomly.
3) Problem is NOT consistent. Sometimes I can click on layer and work on that file without issue.
4) Sometimes bounding box is bolder than others, not sure why
What I Really Really Want
To click on layer within the image and have that layer stay clicked on, have the borders, etc consistently show AND be able to transform it without having to click back and forth to Layers Panel.
I hope I explained this well enough, let me know if I need to clarify.
