Zoom with Scroll Wheel and Zoom with Trackpad work inconsistently.

In Photoshop, Zoom with the Scroll Wheel and Zoom with Trackpad work inconsistently. When zooming with the scroll wheel, it functions relative to the pointer, whereas when zooming with a trackpad, it works relative to the canvas, which is inconsistent and annoying
The same issue occurs in After Effects, but it works vice versa for some reason.
In Illustrator, zooming works fine; it always zooms in and out relative to the pointer, regardless of the pointing device you're using.

Please, pay attention to this issue and fix it. Make zooming in Photoshop and After Effects same good and consistent as in Illustrator when using different input devices.
