Adding borders to form a square for instagram post

Question

Hello, I am hoping someone can explain where is the option to add borders to form a square for instagram post, but without cropping the image? Simple enough task to fit in the image as it is with some specified margin from the top&bottom or right&left and white background. Instasize app has a very nice way to do it, so I am rather unpleasantly surprised that neither of sophisticated Adobe apps has this feature.

Thanks for reaching out. We know and understand the importance. If you want, you can add the pre-defined borders in Photoshop Express. But the editing of these borders is restricted. Considering the importance of this feature, a request has been posted to add it in Lightroom.
