Adobe Photoshop Express not working on new ChromeOS 109*

Recently we noticed that Adobe Photoshop Express Photo Editor is no longer working on our chromebooks with the new ChromeOS 109.** It was working great on previous ChromeOS versions.

I have a ticket open with Adobe and they just keep pointing me to help docks for Adobe Photoshop which is not what I am looking for.

 

Basically you can download and install the app through the Google play store.

Then when you try to run it, it force closes or hangs.

    Dear Lyn, I have purchased Chromebook version 116.0.5845.168 64 bit and none of the Photoshop apps are available. Any suggestions?

    Hi Matt,

     

    We are sorry for your difficulties. Please let me know if you can download the Photoshop Express application and what happens when you launch it. Please share a screenshot of the error. Please try reinstalling through the below link:

    It's not working for me either on a Google Pixelbook Go. I've reached out several times but have yet to get a response. If I go to the app on the Play Store, it says Photoshop Express isn't available for Chromebook. Very poor customer service.

    Thank you for reaching out, and we're sorry about the confusion.

     

    PS Express on Chromebooks is only supported by arms 7 and 64 and won't work with a Chromebook running on an x86 processor.

    Good news PS Express has started supporting Chrome books running on an x86 processor.

    You can now download the app.

      Confirmed it is also working on ChromeOS 108*

      Adobe called me today and said because I have an enterprise VIP subscription I need to call 1-800-685-2950 and work with them.   Just getting the run around all over the place.

      Removed videos as they cointained personal info.  but still not working.

      ChromeOS now updated to 110.0.5481.112 and Photoshop Express Photo Editor still not working or available.

      We have been unsuccessful using PS Express with the following Chromebooks since updated to ChromeOS 109.0.5414.125

       

      1) Acer Chrombook Spin 514 CP514-2H

      2) Asus Chromebook Flip Model C434T

      3) Samsung Chromebook Plus Model XE513C24

      4) HP Chromebook 11A G8 EE

      5) HP Chromebook 11MK G9 EE
