Question

Before/after useless with cropped images

In the old version, you could crop the image and the image section remained the same for further image adjustments so that you could compare them nicely. In the current Version this is no longer possible and the image section is also changed which makes it impossible to compare the settings correctly...

I went back to 11.4.162

This is the last usable version!

Hi @pr1marY340607539kam ,

Please confirm if it is working correctly in Photoshop Express version 11.4.162. Were you able to go back to the previous version?

Thank you,

Neelam

I went back to version 11.4.162 and at first it looked like it was working. However, after restarting the app a few hours later, the error occurs again (11.4.162).

See attached video.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one seriously irked by this change. This makes the app almost useless to me - you can't compare the effects of fine detail changes (think about sharpening/clarity) and the visual jarring of of switching between a zoomed in view and a full view (of the uncropped image) makes any edit comparison impossible. PLEASE ADOBE either revert to the previous system where you retain the current view setting for before/after comparisons or at least add a "Settings" switch to allow us to select the mode (if other people have some reason for a non 1:1 comparison...not that I can imagine the usage case).  I'm tearing my hair out, and there's not much left of that...

Hi @pr1marY340607539kam , @AndyQ

Thank you for your feedback and difficulties with the feature that compares edited images. Yes, the compare feature works, as you explained. It shows the original photo even if you edit a picture in Zoom. It compares your original image and how you edited it. We are checking with our development team for a resolution and more information on the changes. However, I would need more information to investigate the issue. Please share the device OS details and the Photoshop Express application version installed on your device.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

We are here to help you. We hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you,

Neelam

Photoshop Express Version 11.9.206

I think it worked well until 11.4.xxx or 11.2.xxx (Not Sure)

This also applies if you zoom into the image to compare a detailed view...

The latest version now also includes a watermark after saving... now the app will definitely be uninstalled...
