How to copy mask to layer in Photoshop express or adobe express

Before they took away my Photoshop Mix, I was able to use a copy mask to layer feature to create minimalistic art or basically a black (or other color) silhouette of person or object etc.  

I'm not a professional graphic designer etc, everything I do for my art is self taught so can someone please let me know if there is a way to do this in adobe photoshop express or adobe express?  Or point me to an app that does this now?  It's been hard. So many features I knew how to do I'm relearning in new apps.. but I hate that Mix is gone.
