iPhone color and lighting

Hello, I have been using this app for years, love how much control it offers over photo adjustments. Recently started using on iPhone 16 and noticed that as soon as a photo is imported there is an adjustment to color and lighting. Attached original photo and photo after just being imported to photoshop express and exported at maximum quality. No manual adjustments made and auto-enhance is turned off. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling app, same issue. Why is this happening? Thank you!
