No “Combine photos” Problem

The website says I should be able to combine/and layer photos with this:

 

Mine looks like this:

IPad. I've got Os 17.2 Premium subscription, and I've deleted and reinstalled the app like 10 times now. I've even powered down my tablet for several hours in between app reinstalling.  Is this function no longer available?  There is an overlay option but I want to overlay my own stuff, not the stock options. The Adobe website is where I got the picture of this "combine" function. If there is a different way to combine and layer photos I need instructions because the website keeps returning we to the combine function. Also I can't find any tutorials on YouTube.

     Any idea why do we keep constantly getting these boxes around our cutouts on PS Express???

    We are sorry for your difficulties. Please help us with the Photoshop Express application version installed on your device. I will check with our product team on this issue of no combined feature option. Meanwhile, I recommend sharing a screen recording of the missing feature workflow and share with us through the "feedback" option in the application itself.     So, do you know how to resolve this issue? I am using PS Express on the iPad Air with and M2 chip running iPadOS 17.5.1.

    Hi Greg,

     

    i received a direct email from tech support.

     

    the short answer is we are SOL: our ipads do nothave enough juice or memory so they don't even show the option/feature. Pretty stupid end-user impact.

Scrapbook and cutout doesn't allow you to add an entirely new photo or adjust the cutouts. 

     

    IS THE COMBINE FUNCTION NO LONGER AVAILABLE?

    I am having the same problem.  Also a premium paying user.  I have the "combine" feature when using the app on my phone, buts it's missing on my iPad.  Logged into both with same credentials.

    iPad Air 3gen, iOS 17.4.1, current version of ps express app.
