Photoshop Express freezes when opening .orf files

I am running Photoshop Express 23.30.0 on an iPad pro 4th gen. It works just fine on .jpg files, but when I try to open a .orf file (Olympus camera RAW) it freezes until I shut down and restart the app. I have tested the .orf file with Photoshop on a Windows PC, and it works just fine. I have also logged out and in, and restarted my iPad. Any suggestions?

Hi Kurt315030359yuv,

We can open it through share Extension( open Photos app -> select image -> tap on share icon -> select PSX -> import -> it opens the image in PSX). Still, through the Image picker inside PSX, this is impossible as iOS 16 itself cannot show the image in the Photos App.

Update: I tried Photoshop and Lightroom on the same iPad and both will open the .orf files. Just not Express.

I also tried opening a Canon RAW file and it works just fine. Seems to be a bug in Ps express that will not allow .orf files. Is anybody else having a problem with PS express and .orf files?

We are sorry for your difficulties. Could you please confirm if this is happening something recently , were you able to access .orf files in Photohosp Express application. Did you try reinstalling the application to see if that helps. However, I will check and confirm if there is a bug.
