Question

Photoshop Fix Features Transferred to Express?

The same as hundreds of old photoshop fix/mix users across this forum, online blogs and Twitter- I am extremely inconvenienced & devestated with the sudden unnecessary removal of the  fix/mix apps.

I am seeing so many posts in social media that are just recommending other apps to users, as photoshop express has around 30% of the features.

I find it crazy that adobe would remove these apps without having all the features available on express. I wonder if anyone knows how to make a formal complaint? I keep seeing the same generic responses from staff like 'this forum is reviewed by the creators' etc. The apps have been down for two weeks now, with 0 update to express. Beyond disappointing.

I do not have access to the express premium as I'm not paying for it without trying it. The live chat wasn't very helpful.

I was wondering if anyone who has tried it/has it can clarify if it has any of the main features I used on fix (which I'm about 98% certain it won't):

  1.  Clone/ healing tool from Fix. I've read express has some similar tool but it is useless?
  2. Healing brush. So Express has a free healing brush- however it is horrendous compared to the old one on fix. Very clunky and it may just be my luck, but quite inaccurate healing 80% of the time. Painfully obvious edit, that it just looks better with the object remaining in the photo.
  3.  Light/dark brush. I know you can select objects to edit on express- however I'm talking about a brush to edit as you please.
  4.  Colour brush. It was towards the end of the fix app. I can't even remember the correct term for the tool. It's where you could select blue for example and brush to change eye colours etc.
  5.  Saturate/ desaturate. Again- I know you can select objects to edit on express- however I'm talking about a brush to edit as you please..

Im guessing nobody from their customer services is feeding back that so many thousands of customers are being inconvenienced by them disabling these apps. So perhaps if enough complaints are made- action would be taken. The links I've tried to use to 'submit future enchantment feedback' to express also doesn't work for me.

So I'm literally just sitting about checking my App Store every couple of days, praying for some kind of miracle a few weeks before I go my travels. I maybe need to settle on editing my photos as if it's 2010 again. Ha!

Apologies for sounding so negative- I'm just so angry these apps have been disabled before half of their features are even available on the 'replacement' app.

Unfortunately, you are correct. Most of the useful features that were in Photoshop Fix have been dropped in the Photoshop Express program. It's too bad, because I would've paid for the Photoshop Fix features, but this is progress in today's world. Take away all the good features, and leave the junk.
