probable bug on communication between PS Express and IpadOS 16

Please forgive me for my not perfect english, as I am brazilian. I have 3 old Ipads, but only one is Pro, where I do all my creative work. It is running Ipad OS 16.7.5, the latest supported as it is from 2012. Since few days, possibly since the latest update of Ps Express (I have now 24.7.1 running) what seems to be the communication betwen PS Express and the app Photos is having trouble and the steps I took to put border, border colour, edge, edge colour on my creative photos is impossible to make. as I did before. On our other Ipads, running Ipad OS 12 and 14, all is working fine as always. First sign of trouble is that when I click on BORDERS, the pic I'm working on does not appear straight away on all the borders options, but a girl with hair to both sides (default pic I guess).I have fiber Wifi so no issue with Internet quality either. When I finally manage to chose the border (I always use round cut, BA5?), the squares (before used to be circles) with the colours for the border do not show up. My son in law i a computer technician so I do have some technical insights to offer. He and my daughter spent over 3 hours yesterday trying to help with this issue. They found out that if I start the edit procedure from step one inside PS Express (which is not the best for me as I am used and comfortable with choosing the pic on the Photos app, clicking on Edit and then choosing PS Express, and from then on doing all the necessary edits on PS Express till the final product gets eported to Photos back). Now, I must start chosing the picture already in PS Express, then I must choose the border, save the picture, only then the colours for the border appear, then choose and save again, then choose the edges, save again, then choose colours for the edges, then save again. Every time I must save, but if I do the same on the other (older) Ipads, running older 12 and 14 operative systems, this flow of actions goes ininterrupted. I am hoping that this is a fixable bug, as this work that I do is the last resource of happiness I have, I am 99 years old.

Thank you for reaching out to us, and we are sorry for your difficulties. Please try reinstalling the application on your new iPad and let me know if this helps. I recommend sharing a screen recording of the issue to better understand and investigate further.

Thanks!! I posted here after guidelines from an Adobe employee over a long chat, he assured me this post would be answered by Adobe engineers, I don't know if this is the case. Many thanks

adobe engineers??? not likely.  but a ps express expert, probably.
